Information we collect

When you open an account, place an order or contact the sales desk we collect the details you give us: your name, business name and ABN, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and your order and payment history with us. Card payments are entered directly with our payment provider — we do not see or store full card numbers. Bank-transfer payments are reconciled from the remittance details on your transfer.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as device type, browser and pages viewed, to keep the site secure and working properly.

How we use your information

To quote, process, pick, invoice and deliver your orders, and to send order and dispatch updates.
To assess and administer trade-term (credit) applications where you apply for them.
To provide support, handle claims and manage warranty matters with suppliers.
To send trade pricing and clearance updates where you have opted in.
To detect and prevent fraud, and to meet our tax, customs and other legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We share information only with the providers who help us run the business — payment processors, freight carriers and couriers, customs brokers, and our IT and email providers — and only as far as they need it to perform their service. Where you apply for trade terms we may share your details with a credit reporting body or trade references you nominate. We never sell your information. We may disclose information where required by law.

Storage and security

Information is stored securely and access is limited to staff who need it. Some providers store data on servers located overseas; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy. Records are kept for at least five years where tax law requires it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the order list, checkout and your signed-in session. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site will not work without them.

Your rights
